About The IMP :
Incubation encapsulates the process of starting and running a business. It includes anticipating and reducing obstacles, providing the infrastructure and creating an environment wherein businesses can prosper and where entrepreneurs can exchange, discuss, try new ideas and empower others.

One of the key ingredients for successful campus entrepreneurship is a planned incubation system and the availability of a support network for aspiring entrepreneurs on campus to help them survive the challenges during the start-up period, when they are most vulnerable.  The types of support which we provide are:

Infrastructure :
Space on campus, shared resources, access to laboratories and other facilities for further research towards proof-of-concept; and ultimately, an energetic work environment with like-minded individuals where start-ups can work together.

Mentorship Programme :
- Provide advisory services to students and faculty on creating and managing new business start-ups;
- Provide the networks that will complement the technical expertise of entrepreneurs, so as to successfully translate, integrate or assimilate  know-how or technology into marketable  products or services;
- Allow access to experts with the skill-sets and market knowledge to facilitate market engagement i.e. identify a match of technology, IP or know-how with market pull factors. Such facilitation of market engagement will greatly reduce risk and market validation will attract investors.

Industry Partnership :
By allowing the private sector to bring their expertise to campus, it will facilitate engagement and more technology commercialization.
